Freelance Designer Needed

Graphic Designer

Potion is a design studio in New York City that specializes in social interactive installations. We focus on seamlessly integrating digital processes into public spaces to inform, educate, and entertain. Our services include information architecture, installation design, interactive media design, interaction design, and custom software development. As part of our development of innovative physical interfaces, we work with a wide range of clients including museums, retail, hospitality, real estate developers, exhibition designers, and architects. We are seeking a talented graphic designer to join our small professional team. The position will begin as freelance with possibility of turning into full-time.

Duties:
-Work closely with company partners to design visual interfaces to our interactive installations.
-Design of all communications materials including brochures, proposals, presentations, client documentation, and website.
-In charge of print management and production including specs, pricing, schedules, color, and press checks.

Skills:
-Strong design sensibility with interest in both print and interactive design.
-Excellent communication skills, detail oriented, and ability to join high-level client meetings.
-Software: Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, motion graphics experience a plus.
-Experience: 2+ years preferred
-Education: Degree in Graphic Design
