ART DIRECTOR
Caribbean Travel & Life, Destination Weddings & Honeymoons and Resorts & Great Hotels seek an experienced ART DIRECTOR to work with the Creative Director on all aspects of the art direction of the three magazines.

The titles are owned by Bonnier Corporation and the position is located in sunny Winter Park, Florida.

Responsibilities include designing covers, features and departments, organizing and going on fashion and travel photo shoots, assigning illustrations and collaborating directly with the
editors to produce the 9x CTL, the 5x DWH and the 4x RGH. The ART DIRECTOR will direct an
Associate Art Director and a junior picture editor.

Major redesigns are planned for CTL and RGH. A great opportunity to make your mark on several magazine titles.

Our ideal candidate is an efficient problem-solver with a strong sense of typography, a sense of humor, and experience working with illustrators, photographers and models. All three magazines feature beautiful travel photography, and DWH produces fashion photo shoots on
location. Experience researching, interviewing and casting models and stylists is a plus. Having
an interest in travel and weddings is a must.

Candidates need at least 6-8 years editorial art direction experience and must be proficient in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.

PHOTO EDITOR
5-day a week freelance position for a food photo editor at a newspaper to cover for editor on maternity leave. Start immediately January 14th for approx. 3 1/2 months. Individual will work
directly with the Photo and Art Directors on two leisure sections.

Primary responsibilities will include: assigning and overseeing food and drink shoots (studio & location), working with freelance photographers. Secondary responsibilites are stock and news research for among other topics, travel and home.

Applicant must have the following skills: 3-5 years of food photography experience as wells as photo research experience. Be highly-organized, efficient and focused, with good research skills;
ability to work quickly under tight deadlines and roll with last-minute changes. Capable of
juggling multiple projects at once. Must have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

The Role
Bloomberg News is seeking a Web Content Producer/Operations specialist with experience in video and audio editing for Bloomberg.com, our award-winning web site focused on business and financial news. The position requires knowledge of Web programming environments and computer-based tools and applications. It is essential that applicants have familiarity with Internet best practices, Web 2.0 trends, and emerging technologies, including networking, syndication, tagging, blogging, search engine optimization, Ajax, and others. Responsibilities of
the role include preparing, submitting, monitoring, and maintaining media content (text, images, slideshows, audio and video clips) on tight deadlines for the Bloomberg.com web site. This would include skills in content development and management, and would require the ability to write, modify, and maintain essential site code. The person in this role would also be
required to produce video and graphics, as well as audio packages for mobile.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or the equivalent experience, along with a minimum of three to five years of experience in web production/operations and management. In order to be considered for the role, all candidates must submit a resume with live Web links that
demonstrate how he/she contributed significantly to the conception, usability, and execution of sites. Candidates should also submit a brief demonstration reel or samples showcasing video and audio skills in a news environment.

Qualifications:

Production Assistant
Rodale Inc. is seeking a Temporary Advertising Production Assistant for Men’s Health magazine located in New York City. This is a long-term temporary assignment.

The Advertising Production Assistant will be responsible for the book for press including retrieving both ad and edit files per issue. The individual will be responsible for initiating and
updating the Impoze layout including retrieving edit files from the server, creating jpegs and
trafficking ad pages for the Impoze file to be utilized for a virtual walk attended by the Art Director, Production Director and Advertising Business Director. This file is also customized and
then populated to an html link to be reviewed by the Advertising Staff before going to press. The individual will also be participating with Men’s Health specials and bookazines.

The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proficiency in InDesign CS2 and Impoze
- Strong graphic knowledge
- The flexibility to work different hours and possibly work some evenings during the close
