Design internship at VIBE Magazine

VIBE Media Group is seeking dynamic interns to work with the Art of VIBE magazine. An internship with VIBE will allow aspiring students in art to apply classroom skills in a stimulating real life workplace.

Ideal candidates will be detail oriented and reliable and must have strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to multi-task and the desire to work hard and be a team player. Candidates must also be proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. This is an opportunity to be a part of VIBE as we document and make history.

An internship with VIBE will allow students to gain insight into the inner workings of a magazine, from editing to production. Responsibilities will include scanning, printing, and research. The art intern will also work closely with the editorial interns and help create and design a weekly in-house magazine and a larger semester long in-house magazine that art and edit interns will have full control over. This is a great chance to network with and learn from creative art and photo editors.
