Mother Design, headed by Michael Ian Kaye, is a sub group of Mother New York. It was born to create a fully integrated brand experience with a strategic approach to design. Through the understanding of a brand's heritage, vision, values and unique positioning, we leverage strategy, design, and intuition to establish an emotional connection with consumers.  Our work reflects who we are. Smart. Honest. Independent.

Requirements:

• Must be proficient in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and all other basic programs.  As well as, hardworking, honest, and reliable.
• Must be able to work at least 2 full days, per week, we would prefer consecutive days. Please note intern are required to stay late occasionally.
• There is the potential for payment and/ or credit, depending on your residency status and the requirements set by your registrar's office.

 

 

Interns are responsible for assisting the entire design group. Duties include, but are not limited to:

·      Design Challenges

·      Layouts

·      Retouching

·      Board touch ups

·      Image research

·      Preparation for client presentations

·      Scanning

·      Filing

·      General up keep

Internship dates:
January – May
